Auburn Airplane Works was started by three partners, Michael Haisten, Eric Sweeney and Rob Moore. Michael and Eric worked together at the local repair station, Rob was a customer, and when the company closed their doors the three decided they needed to open their own shop.

Michael got his love of aviation from his dad who has been a pilot for 45 years and owned an FBO in Southern California where Michael learned to park planes at an early age. Eric's love of aviation came from helping at his dad's Ultra-lite aircraft manufacturing business. Eric soloed a glider on his 14 th birthday and was hooked on aviation there after.

Michael holds an A&P certificate with Inspection Authorization and also is a private pilot. Eric holds an A&P certificate and is also a private glider pilot with a commercial and instrument rating for single engine aircraft. Rob is a private pilot and owns a Cessna 182RG.

Together these three bring an extensive knowledge of general aviation aircraft and are dedicated to providing the highest level of safety, customer service, and integrity.
